Endodontic Therapy (Root Canal)
What is a root canal?
A root canal (also called endodontic
treatment) is the cleaning out of the nerve of a tooth and replacing it
with a material that seals the inside of the root so infection cannot get back
in .
Endodontic therapy may be necessary to
save your natural tooth if the pulp tissue is irreversibly damaged by bacteria
associated with decay, very deep fillings, tooth fracture or trauma, or
periodontal disease.
Using the latest technology, Dr. Dean is
able to complete endodontic treatment comfortably and in much less time than
previously possible.
"Just a note to thank Dr. Gord Dean
and staff for the excellent care I received after my recent root canal. I
appreciate the follow-up call from Gord. I felt absolutely no discomfort
at any time during the procedure or even after the freezing left the area.
I've been a patient of Gords for over twenty years now and it never ceases to
amaze me how a dental appt can be such a pleasant experience!!
The office defines the term 'client centered service' and once again, thanks for
your wonderful care..."
Sincerely,
M. Coutts
